Dr. Costello, a native of Grundy Center, Iowa, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Iowa State University followed by additional post baccalaureate coursework in Pre-Medicine at Wartburg College.
Dr. Costello attended A.T. Still University and received a Masters in Health Care Administration and Masters in Public Health before earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He performed his residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Costello is a strong advocate of living a healthy lifestyle and has competed in bodybuilding, strongman competitions and the Scottish Highland Games. He is an Eagle Scout and continues to be involved in scouting with his son. Dr. Costello resides in Kirksville with his wife Ashlea, a Kirksville native, their son Michael and their two dogs, Elle and Cookie. He enjoys lifting weights, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
Dr. Holcomb, a native of Des Moines, Iowa, graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He then attended the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa where he graduated with honors and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Holcomb completed an intensive 3-year podiatric surgical residency at the Iowa Clinic. He has over 7 years of diversified and advanced podiatric training ranging from total ankle replacements and flat foot reconstructions to bunions and hammertoes. Dr. Holcomb is board certified in both forefoot and rearfoot surgery with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Holcomb is a welcomed addition to Costello Foot and Ankle Clinic. He provides compassionate care and is devoted to helping others overcome pain and discomfort and lead a better quality of life.
